Privacy Policy
How we handle the information you share when you find, compare and connect with agents.
Last updated: August 2026
Who we are
agent.casa ("we", "us", "our") is an independent agent finder and comparison service based in Sydney, Australia. We help homeowners find, compare and connect with local real estate agents and request free, no-obligation appraisals. We are not a real estate agency and do not sell, lease or appraise property ourselves. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
When you request appraisals or use the finder, we collect the contact and property details you provide - typically your name, contact details, your property's location and details, your selling timeframe, and anything else you choose to tell us. When an agent or agency applies to be listed, we collect their business and contact details and the information they submit. We may also collect basic, non-identifying analytics about how the website is used.
How we use it
- To match you with suitable local agents based on the details you provide;
- To arrange free, no-obligation appraisals and introductions on your behalf;
- To respond to your request and provide the comparison service you ask for;
- To assess and manage agent applications to be listed; and
- To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
This is the core of our service: when you request appraisals or ask to be matched, we share the details you provide with the real estate agents we match you with, so that they can contact you and provide appraisals. By submitting a request you ask us to pass your details to those agents for this purpose. We share only what is needed to make the introduction, and the agents you are matched with handle your information under their own privacy policies and obligations.
How requests are processed
Our website forms are processed on our own server and delivered to us by email over a secure (HTTPS) connection - no third-party form service receives your details. The sender's network address is recorded with each submission to help prevent spam and abuse. We retain correspondence only for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our obligations.
Your rights
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. To make a request or raise a concern, please contact us.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
